The 2019 Annual Paintings with a Purpose Benefit Gala was held on Saturday, September 7 at Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Center. Angel Hands Art Foundation raised over $2,000 for the Kansas Chiefs Ambassadors/Camp Quality organization.
Items in the auction included an abstract painting of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, II signed by the player. He also signed a football for the auction.
The event was hosted by Shay Moore, co-host of The Morning Grind with Shay & Shine on Hot 103 Jamz and included a performance by Delynia Jannel & Band as well as a keynote address by Dr. Dennis L. Carpenter of the Hickman Mills School District.
