On Friday July 20, 2018, the Angel Hands Arts Foundation held its 2nd Annual “Paintings With a Purpose” Benefit Gala at the Bruce R Watkins Cultural Center. It was a night of beautiful art as Savanna displayed her latest collection of original paintings. We were treated to the soulful sounds of Paula Saunders & Friends as they set the mood as everyone enjoyed dinner. We were inspired by Savanna and her United Dance team members who performed their rendition of “UltraLight Beam” choreographed by Dominique Young.
Board Members from the Derrick Thomas/Neil Smith Third and Long Foundation attended the gala. The Foundation was chosen by our president, Savanna Williams to be this years beneficiary of the proceeds raised from her artwork totaling $1200.00!!! It was an amazing night filled with art, entertainment, laughter, tears,food, fun and most of all inspiration! All to help change the lives of the youth right here in KC.
